CARVED WOOD FURNITURE

We use our imagination and draw from nature as our inspiration. We chose the best material found in Indonesia - teak, mahogany, ironwood, rain tree (samanea saman/ trembesi).  We chose very carefully by using the remnant (the core of the root) from trees which age ranges into hundred of years. Our highly-skilled craftsmen thus formed, molded and delicately carved these roots into wooden furniture. We don't shape our furniture. We let the shape natural as is, the way we found them. We carve it with pattern derived from folklore or local mythology. Each of this piece has a story of its own and we try to honour and preserve them.

 After-all, our wood is like our children - each of them unique, special, and one of a kind.
